Thorngrove School

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and that it will encourage you to come and experience the unique environment in which our pupils are lucky enough to work and play.

Thorngrove is a happy, family school providing a wonderful education for children aged 2½ to 13 years. All the buildings are architect-designed and are set in 25 acres of beautiful grounds.

We value our caring, friendly community and the benefits it brings.  We pride ourselves on our small class sizes, outstanding teaching and fantastic facilities.  We would love you to come along and see for yourself.

It appears that many of you saw me on TV at the weekend, cheering on England at Twickenham.  It was an incredible match and certainly played at a high tempo and with incredible passion from both teams.  It was also great to see the reaction of the English players at the end of the game.  Although the referee could have awarded a penalty to England, he decided to play on and eventually France kicked the ball into touch.  Rather than argue with the referee or bemoan his decision, the English players shook hands with the French players and in post-match interviews congratulated the Irish on their Six Nations victory.  It is so important for our children to see sportsmanship at the very highest level.
