Welcome to
Thorngrove School

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and that it will encourage you to come and experience the unique environment in which our pupils are lucky enough to work and play.

Thorngrove is a happy, family school providing a wonderful education for children aged 2½ to 13 years. All the buildings are architect-designed and are set in 25 acres of beautiful grounds.

We value our caring, friendly community and the benefits it brings.  We pride ourselves on our small class sizes, outstanding teaching and fantastic facilities.  We would love you to come along and see for yourself.

After a hearty breakfast, I am taking the senior girls on their Sports Tour to the South West.  We are playing Godolphin and Sherborne Girls today at netball and hockey.  Tomorrow we head to Millfield for a coaching session with a top international and possibly a swim in their 'Olympic size' pool.  A big thank you to Mrs Thomas for organising a cracking tour and to the schools that we are visiting for hosting us.  I will hopefully be able to update you with the latest scores at some point today or tomorrow.
